The 2228mm is built for the most demanding residential configurations - large heat pumps positioned to face alternate directions, full equipment trains with multiple pumps and spa systems, extensive plumbing and control setups that need genuine internal space to function properly. If you’ve looked at every other size and thought “it’s still not quite enough” - this is your answer.

Which configuration do I need?

Standard - equipment sits away from the wall with 50mm+ clearance behind

Backless - equipment is within 50mm of a wall or fence

Deep Backless - strongly recommended for large heat pumps and equipment with significant depth requirements. Adds 150mm extra depth for larger or awkwardly positioned equipment. Includes 150mm wall strip mounts to wall for lid clearance 50mm + 100mm clearance. Suitable for cutting around pipes and any obstructions  

Heat pump owners - important:

At this size heat pumps are a common inclusion. Airflow and ventilation are critical - confirm requirements with your heat pump manufacturer before ordering. A louvred door or grilled panel is strongly recommended for heat pump enclosures to maintain adequate airflow and protect your equipment warranty.

Before you order:

For a setup this size, take precise measurements of all equipment, pipes, connections and clearances before ordering. Internal dimensions run approximately 50mm less on width and depth, 45mm less on height. Ensure your concrete slab extends minimum 50mm beyond the box footprint on all sides for secure anchor fixing.

Compliance note:

At this scale, council noise and structural compliance requirements are especially important. Consult your local inspector before installation, particularly near pool fencing or property boundaries.
