Hinging your glass gate off a timber or aluminium post requires a bracket that bridges the gap between the post face and the hinge properly. This square post bracket is designed specifically for the Polaris hinge range and suits posts 50mm or greater.

The two stage fixing process makes installation straightforward - fit your hinges to the gate, position in place, screw to the post via the 2 outer holes on the 25mm return leg, then open the gate and fix off via the 2 inner holes. No awkward single handed fixing with the gate already in position.
