Hinging your glass gate off a round timber or aluminium post requires a bracket purpose built for that post profile. This round post bracket is designed specifically for the Polaris hinge range and suits posts 50mm in diameter.

The two stage fixing process makes installation straightforward - fit your hinges to the gate, position in place, screw to the post via the 2 outer holes on the rounded plate, then open the gate and fix off via the 2 inner holes on the flat hinge fixing plate. No awkward single handed fixing with the gate already in position.
