A coating is only as good as its weakest point. If it's thin at an edge, current can leak and the protection is lost. That's why each ToughCoat spigot is cast from a custom mould, giving an even coating thickness and all-over non-conductivity, with a smooth lustre.

A patent-pending insert goes further, covering any exposed internal metal and stopping the pressure plates from twisting.

Quality control includes individual casting and pretreatment inspection, coating thickness testing and electrical resistance testing, with batch testing carried out at a large international laboratory. The result massively exceeds the electrical standard. It's supplied with council forms and testing reports, built to withstand harsh Australian weather, and used by over 100 quality tradespeople and builders across Australia.
